Biography
Phoebe Liu was born in China in 1999. She started learning the Piano when she was four years old. She was educated at the China Central Conservatory of Music and was awarded the Fan Jianqin Scholarship. She studied Piano with Professor Wang Xiaohan.
In 2019, Phoebe continued her studies at the Royal College of Music with Professor Ilya Kondratiev. She is the holder of the C. Bechstein Scholarship.
Phoebe has given recitals in China, Germany and USA. In 2021 she came 3rd in the Kendall Taylor Beethoven Competition in London.
Recent recitals have taken place at St. John’s Church, Fulham, St. Cuthbert’s Church, Earl’s Court and St. Mary Abbots Parish Church in London. In March Phoebe participated in a Masterclass taken by Leslie Howard at the Royal College of Music.
Phoebe has many hobbies such as dancing, singing, painting and swimming.
