Biography
Karin Miura is currently studying for the Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Katya Apekisheva and Charles Owen. She is supported by the Guildhall School Trust, the Help Musicians’ Postgraduate Award and Talent Unlimited.
Karin graduated from the Tokyo College of Music with the Bachelor of Music Degree. In 2019 she continued her studies at the Royal College of Music to study with Gordon Fergus-Thompson. She graduated with Distinction in the Master of Music in Performance Degree.
She has performed in London, Japan, Portugal, Germany and Hong Kong. Recent performances have taken place at Grocer’s Hall, Draper’s Hall, Axis Katsuragi Concert Hall, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Festival Hall.
Karin won first prize at the Verao Classico Academy Awards and in the Rosenstock International Piano Competition.
